You can delete multiple submissions by checking the box next to each submission (the checkbox at the top of the list is a convenient way to check or uncheck all submissions). 

Then click the 3-dot menu at the upper right of the submissions list, and "Delete Selected."

Confirm your choice, and the submissions will be removed. Be careful as there is no way to recover submissions after deleting them.
