Is there a way to quickly create multiple objects of the same type? |
Yes! There are two ways to quickly create multiple objects of the same type.
- One - Use the duplicate feature. Hit Control + D to quickly duplicate any feature you've added to the worksheet.
- You can select multiple items on the screen by clicking one, then holding the Shift key and click other items. Or hold the Shift key, click away from items, then drag the mouse to draw a rectangle to select multiple items. Hitting Ctrl-D for "duplicate" will duplicate all the selected items.
- Two - Use the spacebar shortcut. Hitting the spacebar key will automatically reset to the last tool that was used to create a new object. You can then create a new object of that type.
