January 24th, 2024 - "My Students" Just Got Better! |
We've made a change to the "My Students" view that will make your life so much easier!
Seeing how your students are doing is a job of utmost importance to you as a Teacher. That's why we put "My Students" front and center in the TeacherMade menu.
The "My Students" view shows you which of your students have been working recently. And now with these latest improvements, "My Students" also lets you review their work, reopen or reset submissions, print, and even submit their incomplete work for them!
Here's how:
- First click "My Students." That will bring up a list of the students who have recently worked on your assignments.
- You can sort the list by name or by date of most recent activity.
- You can also filter how far back into the past you want to look.
- Now, click a student name. That will bring up that student's Assignments, sorted by date with the most recent at the top, including Status and Score.
That's a super powerful screen! And we've added a few features to help make you even more productive!
You can now act on any of those submissions using the "..." menu to the right. Let's say the student finished working, but forgot to click "Submit." All you need to do is click "..." then choose "Set as Completed." You can also reopen or reset an assignment for that student, or print their work.
And that's not all! You can now review multiple assignments for the same student all at once! To do so:
- Use the checkboxes at the right to select any assignments for this student you wish to review.
- Then, at the top of the screen, click the "..." button.
- Choose "Review Selected."
That will bring you to the Submission Review screen you're already familiar with, but with one major difference. Instead of seeing the work of multiple students in a single assignment, you'll see only the work of the single student you were viewing, in all the assignments you selected!
Just use the forward and backward buttons to go from one assignment to the next, or the drop down to jump directly to an assignment:
What an awesome upgrade to an already incredible feature! Thanks, once again, to our amazing Product Development team!!
