Edit Your Answer Key After Assigning or While Grading Assignments |
Do you need to make corrections to your answer key after you’ve already assigned your Activity? Have you noticed something to change after students have started taking a test? You can edit your answer keys AFTER you have assigned, after students have started working, or even after you've started grading! Here’s how it works.
Edit the Answer Key
Start by selecting the Activity you would like to edit by clicking the checkbox next to the Activity.
The Activity Toolbar will be displayed. Click the "Edit Content" icon.
That will open the Activity in the Activity Editor. Notice that the Editor informs you that are editing the Answer Key.
TeacherMade limits the ability to modify the Activity in Answer Key mode. Clicking the “More…” button will explain in detail what you're allowed to do.
After you have made your edits, close out of the screen by clicking the ‘x’ in the top right corner and your edits will be saved.
Rescoring A Modified Answer Key
Once you edit an answer, the scores of all assignments that have already been submitted will be updated. It’s important to note that this feature is different than adjusting the score of an assignment. This feature will update all of the current scores and any future submissions to an assignment.
If you are using one of our integrations (Google Classroom, Canvas, or Schoology) you will need to resync the scores that have been edited.
To resync, close out of “Answer Key Mode." You will see this message at the top of your worksheet detail page:
Select “Click here to resolve” to change the current scores. Then click "Select Assignments to Sync."
Check the box of each assignment you would like to update. Then click "Update Scores."
The scores will be resynced immediately and you will be informed when the process has completed.
