How can I upload an image to my assignment?

To upload an image to your assignment, click "Insert" on your toolbar. The Tools menu will pop up. Select "Image" from the "Content Tools" column.

 



This box will appear:



You can either choose an image from your computer, drag an image into the gray box, or use a preexisting one in the gallery. Once you select an image, it will automatically it will appear on your activity. 


Resizing the Image

Click the image to select it. Click and drag any of the "handles" around the image to resize it. 




Image Options

Select the image to set any of the options:


  • Border Color - Draw a 1-pixel border around the image in the color of your choosing. Select "No Border" to turn off the border.


  • Lock Aspect Ratio - Retains the original proportions of the image as you resize it.


  • Transparent - This feature requires that the uploaded image have a transparent background. Turning this on allows other objects to be visible through the transparent background. Turn this off and the background will be replaced with solid white.

  • Transparent Off:

  • Draggable - Allow the students to drag the object on the screen and place it where they wish. You can create a Drag and Drop question by connecting the image to a Drop Zone. See the instructions here, noting that you won't need to use the Snipping Tool since you already have a draggable image to connect.
