Since valuable student data is connected to each of your Assignments, TeacherMade doesn't permit you to delete Assignments. Instead, you can hide an Assignment from your current view by archiving it.

How to Archive An Assignment

To archive assignments, go to your home page, visit the folder containing the Activity, then click the Activity name. When you arrive at the Assignment list, you can check off any of the Assignments or click "Select all assignments" at the top. 

Once you've checked any or all of the Assignments, click the Archive icon in the upper right and confirm that you want to archive those assignments. Now you've got a clean slate to start the new school year!

How to Restore Archived Assignments

If you need to review last year's work for any reason, just click the worksheet title to arrive at the Worksheet Detail screen. Then click the "Archived" link at the top. That will toggle the view so that you see just the archived assignments.

From here, you can use the buttons on the right to Restore an assignment, which will move the assignment back into your Worksheet Detail screen. Click the "Active" link at the top to return to that view and you'll see the restored assignment and can view the student scores. You can archive it again when you're done reviewing it.

Update Google Classroom, Canvas and Schoology After Archiving

If you use Google Classroom, Canvas or Schoology to deliver assignments to your students, the links that were copied to those systems are no longer usable by students once archived. If you wish to use the same activities in the same classes and course, you'll need to create new assignments. For Canvas and Schoology, you'll copy the new Assignment links to the appropriate assignments within the LMS. For Google Classroom, new TeacherMade assignments will be created in the classes you select during Assignment creation. If you need to remove last years' class assignments in Google Classroom, login to Classroom and remove the assignment.

Can I Delete Multiple Assignments? Can I Delete an Entire Folder?

You can archive multiple assignments for the same activity, but currently, TeacherMade does not have a way to archive assignments from multiple activities, or archive all the assignments in a folder.
