The Teacher Score and Auto Score features are cumulative. This means that both the points received and points assigned from the Teacher Score will be added to the Auto Score. Teacher Score does NOT replace Auto Score.

For example, say a student received an 8/10 on the auto score portion of an assignment and you want to give them a 3/5 on an open answer, you'll make the Teacher Score 3/5. This will make their final score 11/15 or 73%.

If you would like to override the auto score, please do so using the ‘Adjust’ feature available on each individual question. Do not use Teacher Score to override the auto score.

Finally, if you want to override the auto score completely, you can use the “Custom” score button. This score will replace their auto score.
