If you click a TeacherMade Assignment in your Canvas course, and find that you're now signed in in TeacherMade as one of your colleagues, then you likely copied one of their Assignment links into your course. Or you are using a course they created that was later shared with you in Canvas.

TeacherMade doesn't allow sharing of Assignments in Canvas, either through sharing Assignment links or through Canvas shared courses/sections. When you click an Assignment in Canvas, the TeacherMade system locates the Assignment owner and essentially signs them in. If that Assignment is not in your account, you'll be signed in as someone else!

To share the same classwork, Teachers instead need to share Activities (not the Assignments they created from the Activities). Click here for help on sharing activities.

Once you've copied the Activities into your account, then you'll create your own Assignment links and paste them into your Canvas course.
