Once you've uploaded the background into your Activity, you cannot directly edit it. TeacherMade captures an image of the page or slide and displays it behind the interactions you add on top.

For simple edits, these tools in TeacherMade may help you:

• Color block - draws a rectangle, allowing you to hide parts of the background
• Teacher Text - allows you to write your own text to replace text in the background. This can be helpful to change instructions, for instance, especially instructions that are written for paper-based work.
• Snipping Tool - Grab and move a section of the background. You can also convert text from the background to a Teacher Text block, which makes it easier to edit, rather than typing from scratch.

If you wish to dramatically change the background image, it may serve you well to edit the PDF in a third-party tool like Adobe Acrobat or SmallPDF.
