Allowing Students not in your Google Classroom (or your Co-Teacher) to Start an Assignment

TeacherMade has a feature that blocks students who are not in your Google Classroom class from starting an assignment you've given to that class. It will not block you, but it will block your Co-Teacher from starting the assignment (because they're not a student).

If you want your Co-Teacher to start the assignment, or if you've copied the assignment link to other classes and need to allow students in those classes to start the assignment, follow the instructions below:

Edit the assignment settings by clicking into the assignment, clicking the 3-dot menu at the top of the left-hand panel, and choosing "Edit Assignment."

Then select "No" next to the new feature that blocks students who are not in the class.

Finally, click "Save" and you'll be able to start the assignment yourself.
