Get Started with TeacherMade: 4 Steps to Converting a PDF or DOCX into a New Digital Worksheet

To start creating an interactive worksheet, first login to your TeacherMade account.


On the My Worksheets Dashboard, you’ll see the following on the upper left of the app:




4 Steps to Converting a PDF into TeacherMade


Click on New Worksheet in the upper left portion of your screen. The Create Worksheet pop-up screen will display:



  1. Click on the Upload a File button and choose a file from your computer. You can also drag and drop it into the box without clicking. The file you select becomes the background layer of your new interactive worksheet.


  1. Your selected file will take a few seconds to load, depending on its size. Once it does, thumbnails of each page will be displayed:



  1. Click on ‘Select All’ to choose all pages in the file. You can also select individual pages from your file by clicking the boxes underneath each page thumbnail.


  1. Click Go! 


Once processing is complete (may take a second depending on the size of your file), you’ll be placed in the “Edit Worksheet” screen where you can begin transforming your document into an interactive, multimedia-rich, auto-grading wonder.



 PRO Tips

  • You can upload any PDF, DOCX, JPG, PNG, or GIF file.

  • TeacherMade PRO allows you to upload 25 pages or less.


To start, you will want to draw answer boxes wherever students have to enter their responses. You will click, or click and drag a rectangle. When you do, the Tools menu will pop up.   Click, or Click and Drag
