Get Started with TeacherMade: 5 Steps for Converting a PDF or Slides into a New Digital Interactivity! |

To start creating a digital interactivity, first login to your TeacherMade account.
On the "Activities" dashboard, you’ll see the following on the upper left of the app:
5 Steps to Converting a PDF into TeacherMade
Click on the "New" button in the upper left portion of your screen. The select "New Activity."
The Create Activity pop-up screen will display:
- Click on the Upload a File button and choose a file from your computer, or upload from Drive.
- If uploading from your Google Drive, be sure to confirm Google Authentication by clicking on the blue text. The click the "Continue" button on the next screen.
- You can also drag and drop it into the box without clicking.
- The file you select becomes the background layer of your new interactivity.
- Your selected file will take a few seconds to load, depending on its size. Once it does, thumbnails of each page will be displayed:
- Click on ‘Select All’ to choose all pages in the file. You can also select individual pages from your file by clicking the boxes underneath each page thumbnail.
- Next, choose how you would like your pages to be displayed to your students.
- Click "Create Activity!"
- Once processing is complete (may take a second depending on the size of your file), you’ll be placed in the “Edit Activity” screen where you can begin transforming your document into an interactive, multimedia-rich, auto-grading wonder.
